This Côtes du Rhône Village of the Domaine de la Mereuille has the essential characteristics of the wines of this appellation, generally more recognized than the generic Côtes du Rhône. Garnacha, cinsault, monastrell and syrah combine perfectly to offer a wine full of aroma and roundness. Consumable now, will improve in the years to come.
This independent family domain is located near by Orange. Blend- Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault grapes. Fruit forward and floral nose with seductive impressions of ripe red fruit, a light note of vanilla and notes of pomegranate and cherry liqueur, followed by a spiced mix of pepper, cedar, liquorice and rosemary. The palate showcases earthy undertones and notes of red fruit, a splash of black tea and mulberry lead the way to a lifted, floral light bodied finish.
